Why Families Come Back

Not Just Another Summer Camp

The Story They Tell
Other camps had games. This one had skiing.

Every camp has games and crafts. Only this one sends your kid home saying “I went skiing today.” That's the story they tell at dinner. That's the camp they remember.

Not What You Think
It's a camp. Skiing's just one piece.

Skiing is about an hour of the day. The rest? Relay races, art projects, team challenges, sledding, and the kind of energy-burning fun that means bedtime is easy.

Screen-Free
Three hours. Zero iPads.

Three hours of active, physical, creative fun with zero screen time. In a world of iPads and YouTube, this is the camp parents wish existed. It does.

Book Your Way
By the day. Not the week.

No week-long commitment. Pick the days that work for your family. Going to the lake on Wednesday? Skip it. Want five days straight? Do that. Your schedule, your call.

From Real Parents

“Wait — It's Not All Skiing?”

It's the question every new camp parent asks. Here's what families said after their kids went.

Almost Didn't Sign Up
★★★★★

“I almost didn't sign up because I thought it was all skiing for three hours. It's not. My daughter came home talking about the crafts and the relay races. The skiing was just a cool bonus.”

— Parent · Wheat Ridge, CO
★★★★★

“My kids did camp for three weeks and asked to go back every single day. It's active, it's different, and they actually learned to ski. Best camp decision we've made.”

— Parent · Lafayette, CO
★★★★★

“We've done soccer camp, art camp, you name it. Shredder is the only one where my son counts down the days until the next one. No other camp gives them skiing and snowboarding.”

— Parent · Richardson, TX

Common Questions

Camp FAQs

What ages can attend?
Camps are designed for kids ages 3–10. Children must be potty trained to participate.
Do kids need ski experience?
Nope — and that's the point. This isn't summer ski school. Skiing and snowboarding are just one part of a packed camp day full of games, crafts, and active play. Your kid doesn't need any experience. They just need to like having fun.
Can I book just one day?
Yes. Camp registration is flexible — book individual days that work for your schedule. No week-long commitment required.
Is full-day available at every location?
Full-day options are available at select locations. Check your nearest Shredder for availability. To register for a full day, purchase both the AM and PM sessions on your desired date.
What should they bring?
Water bottle, snack, and lunch for full-day campers. Comfortable athletic clothes — no ski gear needed. Everything else is provided.
What varies by location?
Camp dates, pricing, daily schedules, and full-day availability can vary. Some locations may also offer additional activities or partner experiences.
How much does camp cost?
Camp pricing varies by location and format (half-day vs full-day). Select your location above to see current pricing and availability. Camp packs are also available at select locations for families who want to book multiple days at a better per-day rate.
How do multi-day camp packs work?
Multi-day camp packs give you a set number of camp days (5 or 10) at a better per-day rate than booking single days. You can use your pack days on any available camp date throughout the summer — and mix morning, afternoon, or full-day sessions however you want. Pack days don't expire within the season. Check your location for pack pricing and availability.
Is it really not all skiing?
Really. Skiing and snowboarding are about an hour of the day. The rest is games, crafts, active play, sledding, and all the fun stuff that makes a great summer camp. Think summer camp with a bonus — not summer ski school.
What's the staff-to-kid ratio?
Shredder maintains small group sizes across all programs. During camp, your child is supervised by trained Shredder staff throughout the day — during games, crafts, skiing, and transitions. Exact ratios vary by activity and location.
My kid is 3–4 and has never been dropped off anywhere. Will they be okay?
Yes — and this is incredibly common. Our staff is experienced with younger campers and first-time drop-offs. The structured schedule, small groups, and high-energy activities help kids settle in fast. Most parents tell us their child was smiling within five minutes.
What's the cancellation / refund policy for camp?
Cancellation policies vary by location. Generally, cancellations made 48+ hours before the camp date are eligible for a credit or refund. Contact your location directly for their specific policy. No refunds for no-shows.
