Skiing and snowboarding start here.Naperville, Illinois is next.
Opening January 2027 · Naperville, IL
Shredder is a year-round indoor ski & snowboard progression center for kids ages 1–10, plus one-on-one privates at any age. We're building one in Naperville — and the families on our list get first pick.
A smarter place to start than the mountain
Most kids' first day on snow is cold, crowded, and four hours from home. We built the opposite: indoor, climate-controlled, small groups, the same coach whenever possible.
Every week, not once a year
Skills build instead of resetting each winter. Progress compounds.
Small groups
Closer to a semi-private than a lesson line. Your kid actually gets coached.
All gear included
Skis, boots, helmet, board. Nothing to buy before you know they love it.
Warm, indoors, year-round
No cold, no altitude, no bad-weather days. Ever.
What we'll run in Naperville
Four ways in, by age and stage. Session times are announced to the waitlist first.
Yeti School
Their first time on snow, with you right there beside them.
Little Shredders
Real progression on the bunny hill — pizza to parallel.
Ski School
Chairlifts, green runs, and the confidence to lead the family down.
Snowboard School
Heel edge to toe edge, linked turns, mountain-ready.
Private Lessons
One-on-one coaching at your pace — any age, any ability. Bring up to 3 more at a discounted price.
“Our inspiration came from our son, Luca, attending Shredder classes. Experiencing the program as parents inspired us to bring that same opportunity to families in Naperville. We wanted to create a place where kids can learn to ski and snowboard, build confidence, and have fun close to home. With Luca and Mila growing up here, it’s especially meaningful to build something our own kids and other local families can enjoy for years to come.”

New here. Not new at this.
Naperville will be the newest Shredder — built on a progression system that's already put thousands of kids on the mountain.
Figures reflect the Shredder system nationwide, not the Naperville location, which has not opened yet.
Questions before we open
When does Naperville open?
Opening January 2027. Construction timelines can shift — the waitlist hears about any change first, before anything is announced publicly.
What ages do you take?
Our group programs run ages 1–10, and private lessons are open to any age. Yeti School starts as young as 1 with a parent on snow alongside them; Little Shredders runs 3–5; Ski School and Snowboard School run 5–10.
Does my child need gear or experience?
Neither. All gear is included — skis, board, boots, and helmet. Most kids who walk in have never been on snow.
What does joining the waitlist actually get me?
First pick of session times before enrollment opens publicly. Opening sessions fill fastest, and the list is how we fill them.
How much does it cost?
Naperville pricing is set closer to opening and goes to the waitlist first. Every session includes gear and coaching — there are no equipment add-ons.
Be first on the list in Naperville
Opening sessions are limited by how many kids we can coach well at once. The waitlist gets first pick, and hears the training times before anyone else.
