How the day actually runs

This is the shape of it.

  1. Before your guests arrive

    Come in ahead of the party to hang the banner and set the table how you want it. Your Shredder will tell you how early to arrive.

  2. Everyone gets kitted out

    The coach gets every kid set up for the party you picked, from sleds to boots, a helmet and skis or a board. Plenty of the guests will never have done it before, and the coach plans for that.

  3. The hour on the slope

    Coach-led runs, sledding, races and games, with the slope closed to everyone else. No lines, and nobody waiting behind a birthday party they weren’t invited to. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the whole thing.

  4. Cake at your table

    Time off the slope for cake, presents and the birthday moment, at a table that is already set.

  5. They go home talking about it

    Every guest gets a turn on a real slope. Your kid is the one who put them there.

Birthday party FAQs

How many kids can come? ▾
Every party includes a set number of kids, and the number is set by each location — most include 8, 10 or 12. Pick your Shredder above and the number is on the card. Where a location hasn’t posted a price, it confirms one with you. Each extra child is $20, paid at the party.
What ages is it for? ▾
Parties are built for kids ages 3 to 10. It is a guide, not a rule — if your child is a little older or younger, tell your Shredder and they will sort it out.
Do the kids need ski experience? ▾
No. Coaches fit the gear and run the hour, and a first-timer is the normal case here. That is what we are built for.
What if a kid doesn’t want to? ▾
Some won’t, and the coach plans for it. Sledding and games run alongside the slope time, so a guest who would rather not put boots on still has something to do, and nobody makes a thing of it.
What does it cost, and when do I pay? ▾
Prices are set by each location and shown on the card. A $100 deposit holds your party. Where your Shredder shows open party times, you pick one and pay the deposit online straight away. Everywhere else your Shredder follows up to confirm the date and take the deposit. Your deposit is non-refundable once the party is booked.

Can parents stay and watch? ▾
Yes. You and your guests’ parents are welcome to stay and watch the whole party. Tell us roughly how many grown-ups are coming in the notes box and your Shredder will have you covered.
Can we bring our own food? ▾
Yes. Bring the cake, cupcakes, snacks, drinks — whatever you want. Some locations can help with pizza or other food too. Ask your Shredder.
What should guests wear? ▾
Comfortable clothes they can move in — think PE day — and long socks for anyone going into ski boots. On the ski and board party every bit of the gear is provided.
Are waivers required? ▾
Yes — every guest needs a signed waiver. Your Shredder sends you one link for your guests, you forward it with the invitation, and most parents handle it online in a few minutes.
