Snowboarding isn't a side offering here. Kids in Central Park can learn to ride from their very first session — the same engineered indoor slopes, the same trained kids' coaches, and the same all-gear-included setup, with a board, boots, and helmet fitted for them.

Little riders start in Little Shredders (ages 3–5) and progress into Ski & Board School (ages 5–10), where the group splits by sport so snowboarders get board-specific coaching — edge control, linking turns, and riding with real confidence. Many Denver families choose snowboarding to get board-ready before their next mountain trip.

The Central Park / Stapleton redevelopment surrounds Shredder. Many families walk or bike to their first session.

Aurora families training before Colorado mountain trips use our Saturday morning sessions. A straight shot up I-70 from west Aurora.

Montbello kids training year-round at Shredder are some of our most consistent local participants. The same I-70 access that gets you to the mountain gets you to us.

Absolutely — that's our specialty. Most of our students come in with zero experience. Our programs are specifically designed for first-timers, and our instructors are trained to make that first experience fun and confidence-building.

What should my child wear? ▾

No snow gear needed — our facility is climate-controlled at ~70°F year-round. Athletic clothes work perfectly. You're welcome to bring your own helmet if you have one.

Is gear included? ▾

Yes — all ski and snowboard gear (skis/snowboard, boots, poles, helmet) is included and professionally fitted at every session. There's nothing extra to buy or bring.

How much do ski and snowboard sessions cost? ▾

What age can kids start skiing and snowboarding? ▾

Kids can start as young as 1 in Yeti School, our parent-and-child program, then progress through Little Shredders and Ski & Board School to age 10. We group by age and ability, so your child is always learning alongside peers at their level. Private lessons are the one option above 10.

How soon will my child be ready for the mountain? ▾

Most kids build real, transferable skills in their first few sessions. Every child progresses at their own pace, and our coaches track each skill — so you'll see exactly how your child is growing toward mountain-ready.

Do you offer private lessons before a ski trip? ▾

Yes — this is one of the most popular ways to use private lessons. Many Denver families book a session or series of private lessons before heading on a ski trip. Even 2–3 sessions can make a dramatic difference in confidence on the mountain.

What if my child misses a session? ▾

Where exactly is the Central Park location? ▾

We're at 4890 Ironton St, Units F+G, Denver, CO 80239 — in the Shops at Northfield area of Central Park, about 15 minutes from downtown Denver.

Is there parking or anything I should know before arriving? ▾

Yes — free parking in the shopping center lot. Look for the Shredder Ski sign. Plan to arrive about 10 minutes early for your first session so we can get gear fitted.

How do I add participant information after booking? ▾

You'll be prompted to add participant details (age, experience, ski or snowboard preference, shoe size) at checkout.
