What it is

Part gear event.
Part launch party.

Before the lifts spin and the first flakes fall, Shredder families come together for one high-energy preseason kickoff built to get kids geared up, fitted right, and fired up for the mountain.

This is not a rental pickup line. Kids get professionally fitted for skis, snowboards, boots and helmets. Parents lock in rental gear before the seasonal rush, shop winter essentials, catch event-only deals, enter raffles, and get help from the team that already knows how young skiers and riders learn.

No resort-morning chaos. No guessing whether last year’s boots still fit. No scrambling for sizes after everyone else has started shopping.

Get fitted. Score gear. Win prizes.
Start the season stoked.
How the day works

Four steps.
Then you’re done.

1

Arrive & check in

Scan the QR code to complete your child’s info form and waiver — or arrive with it already done.

2

Get sized

A staff member fits your child for boots and skis or a board — properly, not from a rack.

Bring: your child, plus their rough height, weight and shoe size.

3

Bindings dialed in

At checkout we set DIN and adjust bindings from the details on your form.

4

Pay & browse

Check out, shop the retail wall while you’re here, and head into winter ready.

Common questions

ShredFest FAQs

Is ShredFest free to attend?
Yes. Coming to ShredFest costs nothing — you only pay for gear you actually rent or buy on the day.
Do I need an appointment?
It depends on the location. Wheat Ridge on Aug 23 is first come, first served — no appointment, just turn up in your window. Littleton on Aug 30 works best if you book a free 10-minute slot ahead, but drop-ins are welcome all morning too.
Do we have to be Shredder families already?
No. ShredFest is open to everyone. If your child already trains with us, Wheat Ridge holds an early window for returning rental customers — but new families are welcome at both events.
What should we bring?
Your child — they need to be there to be fitted — and their rough height, weight and current shoe size. If you can complete the info form and waiver before you arrive, you'll move through much faster.
Does my child need to come?
Yes. Boots, skis and helmets are fitted to the child in person — that's the whole point of the day, and it's what stops a bad fit ruining a mountain morning later.
Can I go to the other location's date?
Absolutely. The two dates are a week apart so families can pick whichever suits — you're not tied to your usual Shredder.
Are helmets included with a rental?
Yes — every rental setup includes a properly fitted helmet. We don't send a setup out without one.
Can I shop without renting?
Of course. Retail gear, giveaways and raffles are open to everyone at the event, rental or not.
