What it is

Fitted properly.
Before the first trip.

Boots that fit are the difference between a kid who wants a second run and a kid who wants to go home. Fit to Shred is three days set aside to do that properly, one child at a time, before the season starts.

This is not a rental pickup line. Your child gets measured and fitted for skis or a snowboard, boots and a helmet by the team that already knows how young skiers and riders learn — and you lock the gear in for the season before the popular sizes are gone.

No resort-morning chaos. No guessing whether last year’s boots still fit. No scrambling for sizes after everyone else has started shopping.

Get measured. Get fitted.
Start the season ready.
How the day works

Four steps.
Then you’re done.

1

Arrive & check in

Scan the QR code to complete your child’s info form and waiver — or arrive with it already done.

2

Get sized

A staff member fits your child for boots and skis or a board — properly, not from a rack.

Bring: your child, plus their rough height, weight and shoe size.

3

Bindings dialed in

At checkout we set DIN and adjust bindings from the details on your form.

4

Pay & browse

Check out, shop the retail wall while you’re here, and head into winter ready.

Common questions

Fit to Shred FAQs

What does it cost?
You pay for the rental gear your child takes home — pricing is confirmed at the fitting. Booking a slot itself is just a time on the calendar.
Do I need to book a slot?
Yes — book the day that suits you above. Fittings are one child at a time, so a slot is what guarantees you're seen rather than waiting.
Does my child need to come?
Yes. Boots, skis and helmets are fitted to the child in person — that's the whole point of the three days, and it's what stops a bad fit ruining a mountain morning later.
What should we bring?
Your child, and their rough height, weight and current shoe size. If there's a form or waiver to complete beforehand, doing it at home gets you through much faster.
Do we have to train at Shredder already?
No. Fit to Shred is open to everyone — you don't need to be enrolled in a program to rent gear for the season.
Which day should we pick?
Whichever suits. Friday opens at 3:00pm, and Saturday and Sunday run all day. Earlier in the weekend generally means more sizes still on the shelf.
Are helmets included?
Yes — every rental setup includes a properly fitted helmet. We don't send one out without it.
Where is it?
Shredder Central Park — 4890 Ironton St, Denver CO 80239. Directions are on the day panel above.
