Right here in Midvale — serving Sandy, Murray, Cottonwood Heights, Draper, and the Salt Lake Valley. Kids train on engineered indoor slopes year-round in small groups, all gear included, minutes from the Wasatch resorts.
How do kids get ready for Park City, Snowbird, or Brighton?

Train indoors before you head up the canyon. A few sessions and your child steps onto Park City, Snowbird, or Brighton already confident on snow — ready to ride the mountain, not learn the basics on it.
My child has never skied or snowboarded. Is that okay?

Absolutely — that's our specialty. Most of our students come in with zero experience. Our programs are specifically designed for first-timers, and our instructors are trained to make that first experience fun and confidence-building.
What should my child wear?

No snow gear needed — our facility is climate-controlled at ~70°F year-round. Athletic clothes work perfectly. You're welcome to bring your own helmet if you have one.
Is gear included?

Yes — all ski and snowboard gear (skis/snowboard, boots, poles, helmet) is included and professionally fitted at every session. There's nothing extra to buy or bring.
How much do ski and snowboard sessions cost?

Pricing depends on the program and session length. Every session includes all gear — skis or snowboard, boots, and helmet — so there are no separate rental fees. Choose a program above to see current sessions and pricing for your family.
What age can kids start skiing and snowboarding?

Kids can start as young as 1 in our Little Shredders program and train all the way through age 16. We group by age and ability, so your child is always learning alongside peers at their level.
How soon will my child be ready for the mountain?

Most kids build real, transferable skills in their first few sessions. Every child progresses at their own pace, and our coaches track each skill — so you'll see exactly how your child is growing toward mountain-ready.
What's Shredder's refund and credit policy?

Refund and credit options vary by program, timing, and enrollment type. For full-session classes: a refund may be available if you withdraw before the 3rd scheduled class; a Shredder credit may be available for the remaining classes after (missing a single class isn't a withdrawal). Camps & Parent's Night Out: refunds or credits depend on advance-cancellation timing. Private lesson deposits follow the same advance-timing structure. Birthday party deposits are non-refundable once confirmed.

Do you offer private lessons before a ski trip?

Yes — this is one of the most popular ways to use private lessons. Many Midvale families book a session or series of private lessons before heading on a ski trip. Even 2–3 sessions can make a dramatic difference in confidence on the mountain.
What if my child misses a session?

We don't run make-up classes, but for an excused absence your facility can issue a one-time coupon code worth the value of an Open Gym — usable toward any program and valid through the end of the session. Contact us at

Where exactly is the Midvale location?

We're at 427 Millennium Way, Suite B, Midvale, UT 84047 — serving families in Midvale, Sandy, Murray, Cottonwood Heights, Draper, and the Salt Lake Valley. Just 30 minutes from Park City.
Is there parking or anything I should know before arriving?

Yes — free parking in the business park lot on Millennium Way. Look for the Shredder Ski sign at Suite B. Plan to arrive about 10 minutes early for your first session so we can get gear fitted.
How do I add participant information after booking?

You'll be prompted to add participant details (age, experience, ski or snowboard preference, shoe size) at checkout. This is required before your first session — if we don't receive it in time, we may not be able to accommodate your session. Email us at
