Shredder Chicago North Side is our newest facility, opening in Illinois!
Our location is conveniently located in Old Irving Park just 1.2 miles off of I-90/94 near the intersection of Old Irving Park Road and North Milwaukee Ave.
We’re just 7 miles north of Lincoln Park, 9 miles South of O’hare International Airport, and 4.5 miles West of Wrigley Field.

Shredder is thrilled to announce the grand opening of Chicago’s first Shredder Ski and Snowboard School, brought to you by the dynamic Lester family – Kevin, Meredith, Cory, and Cassie! The Lesters are a group of passionate outdoor enthusiasts who can’t wait to bring their love for skiing, children, and this franchise business to the vibrant city of Chicago.
FAST FACTS:
- Drop-In trial classes!
- Try us out, then join any of our full sessions later this year.
- $25 per spot
- 5 spots per class time
- Ages 1-10 welcome!
- Yeti School: 1-3 yrs
- Little Shredders: 3-5 yrs
- Ski + Snowboard School: 5-10 yrs
- The Showcase is a very basic lesson – join a session for more structured learning!
- No registration needed for Open House! Just stop by to learn about Shredder!
2024 THANKSGIVING BREAK CAMPS
Monday – Tuesday, Nov. 25 – 26, 2024
Half-Day AM: 9am – 12pm
Half-Day PM: 1 – 4pm
Full Day: 9a – 4p
*To register for a full day, make sure you purchase both the AM and PM camps on your desired date!
Ages: 3 – 10 years old (must be potty-trained)
Activities include skiing, snowboarding, sledding, games/sports, arts & crafts, Lego projects, and more!
Half-Day attendees: Please pack a snack and a water bottle
Full-Day attendees: Please pack lunch, 2 snacks, and a water bottle
After selecting a specialty program above, be sure to scroll down to see ALL current and upcoming dates open for registration!
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

- Students are only allowed ONE OPEN MAKE-UP over the course of this session (read more on our FAQs Page).
- Tough scheduling circumstances? Contact us to discuss options!
- Each session has make-up times for each of the major 3 class types (designated in the schedule above):
- Yeti School
- Little Shredders
- Ski + Snowboard School
- To schedule a make-up, you MUST contact your facility’s staff to confirm the DAY and TIME that you will end. Keep in mind that a make-up cannot be carried over to a later session.
